Privacy policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026. This page explains what DeckWatch UK collects, why, and your choices. DeckWatch UK is run by Jason Simons, who is responsible for your data (the "data controller" under UK GDPR).

The Friday Deck Drop email

• What we collect: your email address, plus basic sign-up details our email provider records automatically (date, the page you signed up from and whether you open or click our emails).
• Why: to send you the free weekly Friday Deck Drop email you asked for. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by subscribing.
• Who handles it: our newsletter is sent with beehiiv, which stores your email on our behalf. See beehiiv's privacy policy. beehiiv is based in the USA, and transfers are covered by its own data protection safeguards.
• Unsubscribe anytime: every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we'll remove you.
• We never sell your email or share it with shops, sponsors or advertisers.
• How long we keep it: until you unsubscribe. After that we only keep what's needed to make sure we don't email you again.

Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites and doesn't collect personal information. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Links to shops

When you click through to a shop, that shop's own privacy policy applies. We don't currently earn from these links. If that changes, those links will be clearly labelled as ads.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent at any time. Contact us at [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
